Following the Supreme Court judgment of 2016 and subsequent amendment in the Medical Council of India Act, NEET-PG has been made compulsory for admission into Post Graduate Medical Courses in India including for foreign nationals. NEET-PG registration process began in September 2016 & the entrance examination was conducted by National Board of Examination in December 2016 and result was declared in January 2017. 2. Indian Embassy, Kathmandu invites application for Post Graduate Medical Courses at BHU, Varanasi India (self financing) who has appeared & qualified (a minimum of 50th Percentile which comes to 705.9194 out of 1500) in NEET-PG-2017, as mentioned above. Interested candidates are advised to download & fill in the prescribed application form and submit latest by April 7, 2017 at Education Wing, EOI Kathmandu along with following documents.
(i) Notary attested copies of academic transcripts-first, second, third & final year MBBS examination marks.
(ii) Notary attested copies of MBBS degrees/certificates recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(iii) NEET-PG score
(iv) Attempt certificate indicating the number of attempts candidates has taken to pass the MBBS examination.
(v) Candidates may please indicate names of at least three courses in the order of preference from following disciplines:
a) MD (Psychiatry); b) MD (Radiotherapy); c) MD (TB & Resp. Diseases); d) MD (Derm., Venereology); e) MD (Anatomy); f) MD (Psysiology); g) MD (Microbiology); h) MD (Bio-Chemistry); i) MD (Community Medicine); j) MD (Pathology); k) MD (ENT); l) MS (Obst. & Gynecology); m) MS (Orthopedics); n) MS (Ophthalmology).
3. Candidates who have submitted applications earlier may please re-submit fresh application following above instructions at para-2.

MBBS/BDS course study in India
As per admission notice issue by CBSE on Jan 31, 2017 Embassy of India, Kathmandu wants to convey to all Nepalese students who want to get admission in MBBS/BDS course in India either directly or through Indian Embassy Scholarship Schemes (Self Finance Scheme/COMPEX) that they will have to go through NEET examination conducted by CBSE from the academic session 2017-18.
