Joint Committee on Water Resources(JCWR)
 
The fifth meeting of India-Nepal Joint Committee on Water Resources(JCWR) was held from 20-22 November 2009 at Pokhra (Nepal).  The Indian delegation was led by Mr. U. N. Panjiar, Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources and Nepalese delegation was led by Mr. Shankar Prasad Koirala, Secretary, Ministry of Energy. The Committee finalized the Terms of Reference of the Pancheshwar Development Authority, subject to approval of the two governments, and made a significant progress on other issues relating to cooperation in field of water resources between the two countries.
